Summary
The school will provide training for the successful candidate. The apprentice will assist the school business manager with efficient and effective admin support to the reception and administration team. A point of contact with supervision, for enquiries at the reception desk, maintaining systems and general administrative duties.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
To provide the following with supervision:
- To provide an efficient and effective administration support function to the administration team
- To liaise with staff, pupils, parents and other visitors regarding school related enquiries by telephone, email and face-to face
- With relevant training, to use school based computerised records/management information systems (Arbor)
- Undertake word processing tasks
- File/store/record data and information in line with procedures
- Working flexibly as a member of the administration team
- Organising and supporting various events and meetings etc.
- Opening and distributing post
