Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Dispensing medicine (with ongoing training and supervision)
- General admin
- Dealing with over-the-counter and phone enquiries
- Use of the computer and the pharmacy-specific software
- Checking off and unpacking orders
- Stock management
- Date checking of stock
- Processing NHS prescriptions
