Work

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and clients within the education and public sectors
- Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks to support the recruitment process
- Candidate Liaison: Communicate effectively with candidates to manage their application process
- Client Interaction: Liaise with schools, colleges, and local authorities to understand their recruitment needs and ensure a smooth hiring process
- Reference Checks: Conduct thorough reference checks for potential candidates
- Client Meetings: Attend client meetings to gain insights into their requirements and organisational culture
- Background Checks: Perform background checks to ensure candidates are a good fit for our clients

Course contents
- Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements. This may include identifying labour market shortages and the demand for those with transferrable skills with the capacity to move from the legacy carbon economy into a green economy job.
- Write, place and update adverts in line with company procedures
- Monitor responses/applications received and make sure that candidate’s applications are processed efficiently
- Qualify, shortlist and present suitable candidates against defined job vacancies
- Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the candidates and internal teams
- Initiate, manage and develop candidate relationships
- Identify and progress leads as required
- Contribute to the development of a recruitment resourcing plan
- Proactively and consistently strive to identify new candidate and client opportunities
- Provide first line support for all enquiries
- Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation
- Provide support to ensure that the candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service at all times
- Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates
- Accurately record candidate and client information on the recruitment database
- Utilise database information in line with relevant legislation and best practice
- Escalate non-compliance where appropriate
- Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (e.g. interviews arranged, candidates sourced etc)
Your training plan
Full training will be given leading to a recognised Level 2 Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship Standard Qualification.
You will complete the mandatory qualifications as follows:
- Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing
- Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing
- Full on-the-job training will be delivered by Invictus Recruitment Limited
- Functional skills if required
Off-the-job training will be supported by our Training Provider – Davidson Training UK Ltd.
You will also complete the Functional Skills in maths and English up to and including Level 2 (if you already do not hold the equivalent) All training will be delivered within the workplace during working hours.
As a Recruitment Apprentice, you will work closely with a manager who will mentor you and guide you towards progression within our company. You’ll receive ongoing training and support to help you develop your skills and advance your career in recruitment.
