Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Accurately and skilfully undertake all aspects of the motor vehicle body repair
- Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
- Working under direct supervision at all times to achieve full competence and qualification
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with manufacturer and British Standard industry guidelines
- Any other ad hoc duties and when required

Your training plan
- The programme for the Multi-Skill Accident Repair Apprenticeship incorporates underpinning knowledge delivered in partnership and managed by EMTEC College
- (Multi-Skill Accident Repair) Accident repair technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths will be provided for those without GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) if required
- Regular review and welfare visits from appointed assessors who will observe all evidence opportunities that occur naturally in the workplace
- Candidates must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours. Candidates must also be willing to travel to Emtec College to complete the block release training
- Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade 3)
- Maths (grade 3)
