Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Operate and maintain machines used in the production process.
- Able to carry out Lean Manufacturing Projects
- Work to 5s
- Set up machines according to specifications.
- Consistently quality checking.
- Able to identify and understand problems and apply techniques for improvement
- Escalate findings where necessary
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.
