Summary
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Operations teams with general administrative tasks, such as preparing and sending customer quotations, processing and managing customer sales orders, plus more.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- General administration duties
- Responding to correspondence, telephone calls and e-mails when required
- Answer and direct any queries providing accurate information to ensure excellent customer service is being delivered
- Acknowledge customer enquiries
- Prepare and send customer quotations
- Process and manage customer sales orders
- Prepare and manage order shipments
- Provide aftercare
- Maintain customer records and files
- Assist the operations team to
- Source materials
- Manage inventory
- Book in/out orders and stock
- Provision of quality/regulatory documentation
- Maintain supplier records and files
- Any other duties that are deemed appropriate from time to time

You will be studying a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard over an 18-month period. This is a fully work-based programme - you will get allocated time to complete your apprenticeship work and also receive regular meetings with your training provider.
