SRL Traffic Systems are looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our team as an Engineering Technician Apprentice, specialising in Product Design. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager to help develop SRL's Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) product range.
• Assist in the design and creation of new systems and products, working closely with our Product Managers and Manufacturing teams.
• Use design software such as SketchUp Pro and KiCad to bring ideas to life with detailed drawings and models.
• Get involved in Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics design tasks as part of your learning journey.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute your ideas to help solve technical challenges.

Training will be delivered by a tutor within the workplace along with online learning. Level 3 Engineering Technician apprentice.
On-going Support: Continuous guidance and assistance throughout your apprenticeship, ensuring you develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Dedicated Study Time: Allocated time during working hours to complete your apprenticeship work, with support available to help you achieve your academic goals.
Mentoring: A dedicated mentor will be assigned to provide personalised guidance, helping you navigate both technical challenges and career development.
