Summary
The successful candidate will be supporting the planning desk with driver communications and allocation of daily jobs whilst using IT software They will also understand how a transport depot runs, the time critical customer expectations and the equipment it operates including workshop and wash bays.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Supporting the transport planning office (Manchester) with customer liaison including:

- Customer order input and amending

This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace one day per week with the training provider on the Supply Chain Operator (Traffic Officer) - Level 2. The traffic office apprentice gains the knowledge, skills and experience for managing the movement of goods.
Functional Skills maths and English (if required).
Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date.

GCSE in:
- English and Maths (grade 4 or above)
