Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Affordable housing led development and investment is our speciality. We have a track record across valuation; viability and modelling; development management; construction; land; S106 transactions; forward funding; investment transactions; and different forms of partnerships.
Our clients include the largest and most established providers of affordable housing, small specialist operators, and new entrants seeking access to the affordable housing market.
We are the largest and most established advisers in the affordable housing market, advising housing associations, local authorities, new entrants and for-profit registered providers, property companies, residential developers, strategic land companies, build to rent developers, institutions, pension & life funds, banks, REITS, private equity funds, and private investors.
The team comprises of 11 fee earners, three graduates, two support staff, and a number of consultants covering the following:
Development Consultancy
Land, Development and Affordable Housing Valuation
Public Sector Land / Partnerships
Affordable Housing Trading
Site and Investment Acquisition
The team have had a strong start to 2025, building on growth in the last few years. To support this, we are now recruiting an apprentice who would like to develop a career in affordable housing. The successful candidate will be working with the Development & Regeneration team supporting valuer's with the delivery of projects across the UK.

Day to Day work
The candidate would have the opportunity to get involved in development consultancy, covering viability and modelling, agency, development management, S106 transactions, investment transactions and partnership agreements.
This is an opportunity for a motivated and ambitious apprentice who wants the opportunity to develop their career. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong relationship skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a growing sector within residential development and we offer a varied role where you will be encouraged and supported in your career.
You will gain experience in:
Inspecting properties
Managing information
Analysing data
Researching comparable prices
Assisting the team preparing and delivering reports
Preparing technical advice including development appraisals and cashflow analysis
Working with the team to meet deadlines and service client expectations

5 year training programme (Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship), which includes a part time undergraduate degree (4 years) and an APC training programme (2 years, enrolled at the beginning of your 3rd year at University) leading to become a Chartered Surveyor with an RICS qualification.
On the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship to qualify successfully.

GCSE in:

- minimum of (grade 96 UCAS points)
