Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
-
Assist in the setup of CNC machines, including loading tools and materials

Develop skills to be able to operate: CNC (pyramid roller), CNC wire, XYZ CNC milling machine and CNC controlled press brake

Observe and learn how to read technical drawings and 1.1 drawings

Assist in monitoring the machining process and making adjustments as directed

Learn how to perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines

Help inspect finished products for quality assurance

Assist in troubleshooting and reporting any machine issues

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies

Adhere to all HR policies and procedures

When necessary, carry out other reasonable requests to undertake tasks in the furniture department and/or other areas of the business
