Summary
We are seeking an apprentice working directly with children to support their progress up to and including year 6 within the Holbeach Primary Academy schools. If appointed, you will follow the L3 Teaching Assistant Standard. Duties include: establishing a supportive relationship with pupils and ensuring acceptance and inclusion of every child.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Establishing a supportive relationship with pupils
- Ensuring acceptance and inclusion of every child
- Helping pupils to concentrate and finish work set
- Ensuring the children are able to use equipment and materials provided
- Motivating and encouraging the children as required

- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, a full time teaching assistant/ learning support assistant/special needs assistant/support and administration roles may be available.
