Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Communicating with customers and suppliers over the telephone and via email
- Logging queries and setting tasks to the purchasing team using our Sage CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
- Processing customer orders that are straight forward including the procurement of the parts/services requested by customers
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Converting quotes to sales orders
- Chasing for updates on deliveries from suppliers
- Keeping customers informed
- Review On Holds orders and action where necessary
- Review all zero values pricing orders
- Sales invoice runs
- Inputting data on Sage
- Running reports
- General administration duties
