Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our small and amazing team looking after members of a well established golf club in Hale Barns. The successful candidate will be providing event catering, participating in tasks like preparing and cooking food, cleaning and maintaining a safe & hygienic work place, plus more.

Shift system across 7 days dependant on the needs of the business and any activities taking place (TBC). This would always be agreed in advance with the successful individual with regard to what days and hours are to be worked.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Prepare and cook food items in line with legislation relevant to this occupation and follow recipe specifications including portion control and waste management as directed by the head chef
- Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment including preparation, cooking and storage areas
- Check and report food items and commodities (for example kitchen foil, film, plastic gloves, cloths, etc) stock levels following stock rotation systems
- Operate and clean specialist kitchen equipment following safe handling procedures and in line with instructions from the head chef
- Receive and check internal deliveries of food items, equipment and chemicals and store correctly
- Work with others to ensure dishes produced are of high quality, delivered on time and to the standard required as directed by the Head Chef for our daytime
- Contribute to reviewing and refreshing menus and improving the culinary offer
- Develop own skills and knowledge through training and experiences

GCSE in:
