We are looking to hire a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support the primary and the children's education. The successful candidate must be passionate about child care/development.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Supporting pupils' learning, either in groups or through 1:1 work
- Supporting pupil's self-esteem, inclusion and behavioural development
- Provide learning support to children with significant care needs
- Encourage and promote inclusion in the classroom, ensuring all pupils feel involved with tasks and activities
- Undertake support activities for the teacher as required, e.g., photocopying, preparation of materials and mounting displays
- Supporting the curriculum
- Assist in maintaining class records and contribute to reports on pupil progress and development as directed
- Supporting the school
- Assist in facilitating school events, e.g., school plays, events
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and parents or carers
