An exciting opportunity to join the team based in Bridgwater. Your role as a Groundworker apprentice will work closely with supervisors and engineers to prepare the site ready for the works to take place. If you prefer hands on work, outdoors and part of a team, join us.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Installing and testing site drainage and ducting.
- Building access / working platforms.
- Locate and excavate to expose underground utility services.
Install, maintain and remove temporary protection and safety
arrangements on site. - Direct and guide the movement of vehicles, plant or machinery on site.
- Move, handle and store materials complying with relevant legislation and policies.
- Using and maintaining power tools and equipment.

Initial 15 months you will be located in Bridgwater area and for the remaining of the apprenticeship you will be located in another project for Taylor Woodrow. Accommodation allowance will be available to support you when you move projects pending the distance from your home location Due to working over a number of sites a driving license is essential to this position
