Summary
This is an exciting and new opportunity to join the Administration team at Fife and Kimmitt Surveyors. You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard whilst gaining hands on experience responding to all correspondence including phone calls, emails, and letters.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Reception & Client Communication: Answer calls, manage inquiries, and provide quotes for services via phone and email.
- Message Management: Relay messages to Surveyors promptly, ensuring seamless communication.
- Appointment Scheduling: Handle new instructions from the Quest system, book appointments, and manage the diary, coordinating with clients and estate agents.
- Client Liaison: Engage with clients to take instructions for surveys or valuations, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
- File & Document Preparation: Create electronic files and prepare site notes, terms of engagement, and necessary searches ahead of appointments.
- Invoicing & Payments: Generate invoices using Sage, process secure card payments, and manage financial records.
- Report Typing & Editing: Type and edit survey reports using dictation software, coordinating with Surveyors for finalization.
- Data Management: Input survey and valuation data into internal systems, maintain updated spreadsheets, and manage electronic filing.
- Follow-Up & Support: Conduct follow-up calls with clients regarding surveys, ensure client satisfaction, and manage daily inbox and document tasks efficiently.

You will be studying a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard over an 18-month period. This is a fully work-based programme - you will get allocated time to complete your apprenticeship work and also receive regular meetings with your training provider.

Our very experienced team carries out a range of professional services including property valuations and home surveys.
