Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- To support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom
- To supervise and ensure the safety of children throughout the day
- To encourage children to treat each other with respect and to follow the school’s behaviour policies at all times

- In this qualification you will gain knowledge and understanding of the Supporting Teaching and Learning standards
- You will develop skills on the job where you will be supported by a workplace mentor.
- An Assessor from Bradford College Apprenticeships will visit you on a regular basis to support your learning
