We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy apprentice to join our small innovative team of qualified professionals. We are seeking someone who is motivated, reliable and able to work using their own initiative, while also being able to work as part of a team. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health & Safety Responsibility
- Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines
- Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication
- Labelling and Dispensing
- Accuracy and Attention to detail
- Numerate
- Working within a team environment
- Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals

- Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc]
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- In-house training

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- English/Maths (grade 4/c)
