As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work

As an Apprentice Business Coordinator, you will assist with various tasks to help keep our racecourse operations running smoothly.
You’ll work closely with our experienced team, learning the ropes and gaining valuable skills in business administration and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Event Coordination: Help coordinate race day and event activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly. This includes working with our sales and delivery teams
- Client Interaction: Support in communicating with clients and assisting with their bookings. You’ll help ensure they have all the information they need and that their experience with us is top -notch
- Support Marketing Efforts: Assist in managing marketing materials and ensuring they are up-to-date and available for use.
- General Administration: Help with everyday administrative tasks, like updating systems, preparing documents, and managing enquiries by phone and email
- Learning and Development: Take advantage of on-the-job training and mentoring to grow your skills and knowledge in business coordination

- Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
- All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours
- Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach
