Summary

This is an opportunity to work in a customer service role as an apprentice shop assistant with Greenfingers Florist! You will work and study towards a level 2 customer service qualification and work based in a florist.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Customer service:- serving customers over the counter, taking product orders directly from them, helping and guiding customers with their choices of our products Website/E-commerce orders-taking from the compute, writing customers messages out and then logging for processing Dealing with contract suppliers requests over the phone and email, sending out receipts and quotes.

  • Depending on your job role and work environment: Use an appropriate ‘tone of voice’ in all communications, including written and digital, that reflect the organisation’s brand.
  • Provide clear explanations and offer options in order to help customers make choices that are mutually beneficial to both the customer and your organisation.
  • Be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate patience and calmness.
  • Show you understand the customer’s point of view.
  • Use appropriate sign-posting or resolution to meet your customers needs and manage expectations.

    GCSE in:

    Other requirements

    As our premises is a florist, we work in a cold environment, so candidate would need warm clothing and comfortable footwear [trainers are allowed] There is also a lot of standing and light to medium lifting ie; buckets of water, boxes of flowers.
