Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
- Booking customer jobs
- Take responsibility for administrative compliance e.g. fire protocol
- Supporting other staff members with various tasks in the office when necessary
- Undertaking a range of administrative duties including processing mail, photocopying, scanning and uploading documents, with proficiency using Microsoft Office
- Ordering parts
- Signing parts in to system
- Organising subcontractors
- Raising Purchase orders
- Registering boiler warranties
- Booking engineer training
- Keeping vehicles compliant
- Keeping compliance up to date.
- General office duties

The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job activities and training.

GCSE in:

- Maths (grade 3 or above)
