Summary
The role will provide the successful candidate with hands-on experience and a wide ranging view of the Football industry across various IT disciplines and areas of operations whilst they complete their Information Communication Technician (Level 3) Apprenticeship.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Apprentice tasks to include:
- Assist in the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT equipment and systems.
- Support the IT MSP in managing and resolving IT support requests from staff.
- Assisting the Operations Department with administrative functions, through detailed record keeping, and proactive monitoring of stadium and event operations.
- Help maintain the security and integrity of our IT systems by following cyber security practices.
- Assisting with physical event set up, maintenance and logistical support for Matchdays and other events at the two locations.
- Participate in the deployment and management of software applications and updates.
- Document IT processes and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest IT and cyber security trends and technologies.
- Comply with all company policies/procedures. Adhere to all company regulations regarding policies, procedures, health, safety and security.
- All other duties that may arise from time to time and fall within the scope of this position.

- VMware, Hyper-V, Cyber security tools &technique (grade Any)

About this company
QPR FC (Queens Park Rangers) is a professional football club with a history dating back to 1882 and currently operating in the Championship league with aspirations of operating in the premier league. With this in mind, QPR have embarked on a considerable investment and development project following the recent purchase of our very own training ground. We are into our second year of a 5-year project that will see a £30m investment into our new training centre incorporating a new state of the art elite and academy building and performance centre along with a new bespoke grounds maintenance building.
