Summary

We have an exciting new opportunity available with Hodgson Sealants who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team as an engineering maintenance apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a successful family run company and gain an engineering qualification.

The delivery method for this employer led apprenticeship consists 30 week within the workplace and one 7 hour training day a week within Hull Training. Shifts TBC.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

You will:

  • Undertake installation, testing, servicing, removal, replacement, maintenance and repair of a range of equipment.
  • Undertake planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Be responsible for the quality of your work
  • Ensure your work is completed safely, meets quality standards, time and budget requirements, whilst maintaining the efficient running of the factory and equipment.
