Summary
We are on the search for a creative and enthusiastic apprentice to take on Level 3 Business Administration. In this role, you will join our in-house marketing team covering strategic and innovative marketing solutions to support student recruitment, employer engagement and bran awareness. You will provide essential administrative support.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the marketing team
- Prepare meeting agendas, book rooms, take minutes and distribute relevant documentation
- Support marketing executives liaising with suppliers to obtain best price for resources, promotional items and advertising opportunities
- Raise purchase orders for all items purchased, via the eBIS finance system
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all marketing resources and promotional items
- Implement and run a booking system for cross-college use of marketing resources and event kits
- Monitor the marketing helpdesk and ensure tickets are distributed amongst the team and responded to in line with the marketing SLA
- Ensure the marketing team’s quality and approval processes are implemented
- Support with the administration and upkeep of marketing contacts and lists held on the Hubspot CRM
- Responsible for data entry and maintaining up-to-date databases and workflows within the CRM
- Undertake desk research into markets, customers and competitors as directed by the senior leaders of the marketing team
- Assist with primary market research projects, including implementing surveys, organising focus groups, analysis of information and report writing
- Identify and implement new processes or changes to improve the efficiency and quality of the marketing team
- Organise and maintain GDPR/consent files.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:

Other requirements
You are required to have or obtain knowledge and understanding of your responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people that you are responsible for, or come into contact with which includes the PREVENT Duty. An understanding of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and the job holder’s responsibilities under these regulations is an essential element of this role. Training will be given to support you in meeting this requirement. The job holder must ensure adherence to the College’s Health and Safety Policy and Financial Regulations. The college operates across a number of sites and the job holder may be required to work at, attend meetings or training across any of the sites. The job holder must at all times respect the need for confidentiality whilst performing the duties of the role.
