Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Working directly alongside the Lead Developer, shadowing everything they do to deliver internal and new client projects as part of the agency team
  • Learning to develop and hone your skills across a number of frameworks and building web projects using Craft CMS
  • Helping to support and maintain existing client websites, with an overview and understanding of code languages
  • Communicating and collaborating with other teams and departments (design, strategy and content)

You’ll need to be willing to learn, observe, listen and receive feedback on your work, and over time you’ll gain valuable knowledge and expertise working across live projects. You’ll receive hands-on training in a commercial agency environment, giving you everything you need to succeed within your career. If you have an unstoppable drive and a passion for website development, then we’ll nurture, mentor and work with you, giving you all the necessary skills required to be the best website developer you can be.

We’re on the hunt for methodical thinkers, problem solvers, and all-round great team members with a genuine love for wanting to build beautifully functional websites.

Shadowing our Lead Developer, you’ll hone and develop your skills and capabilities that will see you working on a variety of projects - new and old, external and internal. No two days are ever the same here at Storm!
