Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Greeting patients in a friendly manner
- Checking in appointments
- Ensuring forms are ready for the day
- Contacting patients that specs/contact lenses are ready for collection (ensuring contact lens pricing is correct)
- Sorting post (incoming and outgoing)
- Ability to promote and sell glasses or contact lenses
- Inputting data on to in-house system
- Taking payments including card payments
- Cashing up the till and more
