Summary
Watlington Medical Centre are currently searching for a receptionist to meet and greet patients either in person or via telephone. You will be providing reception and administrative support to the practice, and you will project a positive and friendly image to other patients and visitors.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Make appointments for patients via telephone requests or in person at the desk
- Meet and greet patients upon arrival at the surgery, and check in if appropriate
- Deal with patients’ requests for information relating to the Practice and dealing with payments etc. for medical examinations
- Maintain Patient Demographic information as and when needed, including registering new patients
- Process GP referral letters, including the Choose and Book system
