Summary

This role has come about due to the increase demand for digital displays and bespoke technologies. We hope the individual will want to get fully immersed in the software and hardware used and also bring new ideas and possible tech to the table.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • This role is perfect for an individual interested in both software and hardware relating to digital signage technology
  •  Gain awareness of how various CMS (Content Management Systems) work and be able to assist customers with any issues they may come across
  • Learn how various hardware technologies work, including LED displays, tv screen systems and audio systems
  • The role will sit between the technology team and senior account manager. The senior account manager looks after 2 major high-street names who are customers and use UXG services for various technologies
  • A regular review of all customer displays ensuring they are online and if not ensure that any issues have been dealt with

  • Your training plan

    • The successful candidate would receive a Level 3 apprenticeship in IT Technical Solutions
    • The candidates base will be Leeds City College Printworks Campus
    • Delivery of lessons are on-site and remote via Google Classrooms which would be 3 hours taught session per week with additional support sessions if required
    • One to one session each month with an assessor every 10-12 weeks review with apprentice, Line Manager and Assessor

    GCSE in:

    • Maths (grade 4)
