Summary
The main purpose of this role will be to work alongside the personal progress tutor team, offering administration support to enable successful engagement and retention of students, supporting the Head of Pastoral Support and Group Head of Pastoral Support and Administration.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Computer input using College software systems such as Unit-E, Promonitor and Columbus. Will also use Outlook, Word, and Excel
- To support the Head of Pastoral Support with the organisation of student voice activities by maintaining an accurate record of student ambassadors and organising student voice meetings
- To support the personal progress tutor team but liasing with parents/carers to book disciplinary meetings when appropriate
- To maintain an accurate record of students on the positive intervention programme (PIP)
- To support with absence monitoring in the areas with PPT absence, or areas with specific student attendance concerns
- Assist in the tasks and duties of other staff within the team during periods of staff leave/absence to ensure that an effective quality service is maintained at all times
- To support in the maintenance and distribution of Next Steps (PSHE) materials for PPT delivery to students. Monitoring the student assessment feedback each week to ensure sessions are being effectively delivered
- To attend meetings across college and take notes where appropriate
- Attend events to promote the College including Open Events, Parent Induction Events, Student Enrolment, Student Induction, and Student Progression events as appropriate
- As we now operate as a collective Eastern Education Group you may be from time to time required to undertake any of the requirements of your role for any of our Group organisations
