Summary
Trade Counter Assistants are hands-on and work closely with the Existing Team and in day-to-day depot operations. A part of your day will be serving both new and existing customers from a thriving trade counter, whilst delivering excellent service and driving sales where possible. A computer system will also be used to locate stock & process orders.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Complete local deliveries in the company van
- Manufacture hose assemblies to customer specification
- Promote additional products and services to customers
- Have control of associated paperwork;
- Carry out general duties in the warehouse
- Assist with stock control
- Serving customers (existing & new)
- Locating stock
- Process customer orders
- Providing accurate pricing
