Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
• The primary role of a Print Operator is to operate both digital and rotary print presses
• You will be trained to operate both digital and rotary print presses so no previous experience is needed
• The presses manufacture printed fabric labels mainly for the clothing, bedding and furniture industries
• You will be working as part of a team under supervision and will have some responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the role
• The Print Operator will report directly to the Production Team Leader
