Summary
As a Marketing Apprentice, you will support the Marketing Manager in developing and delivering marketing strategies to promote our services. You’ll gain hands-on experience across various aspects of marketing including content creation, social media management, campaign coordination and analytics, while working towards your qualification.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Content Creation
- Write and edit engaging content for blogs, newsletters, case studies, and social media.
- Assist in creating visual assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
- Support the production of video content, including scripting, recording, and editing when required.
Social Media Management
- Manage and update company social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram).
- Respond to comments and messages, fostering engagement with followers.
- Monitor and report on the performance of social media campaigns.
Campaign Coordination
- Assist in planning and executing digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify new opportunities.
- Provide support for events such as trade shows, networking events, and customer open days.
Website Management
- Update website content, including service pages, blogs, and case studies.
- Optimise website content for SEO to improve search rankings.
- Track and report website analytics using tools like Google Analytics.
Administrative Support
- Maintain and update customer databases in CRM systems.
- Prepare marketing updates and presentations for internal use.
- Coordinate marketing materials, such as brochures and branded merchandise.
Branding and Strategy
- Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with the company’s branding and values.
- Promote the company’s sustainability initiatives, including Net Zero goals.
- Assist in developing customer case studies to showcase successful projects.
Learning and Development
- Apply apprenticeship learning to tasks such as strategy development and campaign execution.
- Stay informed about facilities management industry trends to enhance marketing efforts.

Course contents
- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
- Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
- Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
- Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Your training plan
Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3.
Face to face training sessions will be delivered from the state-of-the-art.
The 3 core knowledge units are as follows:
- Fundamentals of Marketing
- Content Marketing
- Marketing Campaign Fundamentals
In addition to the modules above, you will also study towards the Google Analytics vendor qualification.
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (grade 4/C)
