Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team. You will be working towards your Level 2 Furniture Making Operative Apprenticeship qualification and have duties such as working alongside skilled cabinet makers, assembling cabinets and repairing and installing.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Assist the cabinet makers with simple tasks, including:
- Sanding
- Assembly of drawers, doors, and cabinet units
- Help prepare goods for dispatch and delivery
- Work towards health & safety awareness
- Use of woodworking machinery, both modern CNC and traditional machines
- Help maintain a tidy and efficient workplace
- Familiarisation with technical drawings and AutoCAD software

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
