Summary
As a Network Engineer (Level 4) Apprentice, you'll be working as part of the Technical support department of the company. You'll gain experience in Planning and carrying out project work, network equipment installations as well as CCTV, VoIP systems alongside providing remote and on-site support to clients.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Planning and carrying out project work
- Network equipment installations (routers, switches, cabling)
- CCTV installations
- VoIP system installations
- VoIP server management
- Providing on-site and remote technical support
- Installing, upgrading, and repairing hardware both onsite and in our fully equipped workshop
- Answering phones and updating tickets
- Active Directory management
- Microsoft Entra ID/Azure management
- Microsoft 365 management for multiple tenants

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade Grade 4 / C or above)
- Maths (grade Grade 4 / C or above)
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- IT / Computer Science (grade Grade 4 / C or above)
- IT / Computer Science (grade Pass or above)
- IT / Computer Science / Networking (grade Pass or above)

Other requirements
Any candidate MUST be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check due to some of the environments we work in. The candidate must have a full driving license, and be willing to use their own car / van for work purposes. Mileage will be repaid at 45p per mile. This role requires extensive personal experience and a strong foundation of knowledge.
