Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Bid Management team responsibilities will include:
- Involvement in the bidding process, including capture requirements, client engagement, negotiation, presentation creation
- Understanding and following the bid process through the use of templates and procedure documents and ensuring that reviews and governance are planned prior to proposal submission
- Developing proposals using online software, ensuring the proposal is in line with the client’s requirements

Course contents
- Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours.
- Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects.
- Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
- Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers.
- Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan.
- Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects.
- Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget.
Your training plan
HNC Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor through Accxel Ltd on block release.
If you already hold a construction related degree, you will progress onto chartership.
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- 5 GCSE's including Maths & English (grade 4/C and above)
- N/A (grade 2:2)
