Join Lloyd’s largest syndicate and be part of a global operations team, supporting our Underwriting and Claims team. Underwriting and Claims Operations teams provides bespoke support to Underwriters and Claims Managers worldwide.

Annual wage: £33,000 a year

The 36-month Finance Launchpad Programme will provide an opportunity to gain valuable experience through on-the-job, technical and professional skills training and support towards achieving your professional qualification whether it be CIMA or ACCA with a leading Specialist Insurance Company
You will be supported throughout your career with us and as you rotate around the different areas of Finance, building knowledge and connections we hope in turn you can share your experiences with the following years intake of graduates, apprentices, and peers to build a network of future leaders

Course contents

Communicate in a clear, articulate and appropriate manner. Adapt communications to suit different situations, individuals or teams.

Identify ethical dilemmas, understand the implications and behave appropriately. Understand their legal responsibilities, both within the letter and the spirit of the law, as well as be aware of the procedures for reporting concerns over potentially unethical activities.

Take ownership of allocated projects and effectively manage their own time and the time of others. Demonstrate good project management skills to deliver high quality work within the appropriate timeline. Act as a role model and motivate others to deliver results.

Evaluate information quickly and draw accurate conclusions. Assess a problem from multiple angles to ensure all relevant issues are considered. Gather the appropriate facts and evidence in order to make decisions effectively.

Your training plan

Accountancy or Taxation Professional Level 7 (Degree) Apprenticeship Standard

Completion of the Accountancy or taxation professional apprenticeship will result in eligibility to apply for membership of one or more of the UK professional Bodies below, subject to meeting the requirements expected by the regulator and/or the relevant regulations where chartered status is involved.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

English (grade C)
Maths (grade A)
Any Subject (grade 3x A Levels A-C (or equivalent)
Any discipline from any university (grade 2:2)
