We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Plan low carbon heating and hot water systems to meet customers needs and in accordance with manufacturers guidance and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out preparatory work for the installation of low carbon and hot water systems.
- Test and commission low carbon heating and hot water systems.
- Carry out routine service and maintenance procedures on low carbon heating and hot water systems.
- Decommission heating and hot water systems
- Conform to all heath, safety and welfare in the workplace requirements.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training plan
- The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Low Carbon Heating Technician Level 3.
- The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course.
- This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade A*/9 to C/4)
- Maths (grade A*/9 to C/4)
