Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Handling Logistics – book daily shipping requirements working with shipping provider.
- Providing tracking information to customers.
- Handling queries regarding deliveries.
- Customs Clearance instructions as and when required for incoming shipments.
- Organising collection of parcels to be returned to Morgan.
- Participate in training sessions and assessments as part of the apprenticeship qualification.
- Collate information for reports e.g. late deliveries – goods damaged on delivery.
- Organising and filing of necessary documentation within the department.
- Negotiating the best possible rates and delivery times with our shipping provider.
- Contacting customers with updates on delays with deliveries.
- Working with other members of the parts team to deliver the best service possible.
