Summary
Culverdene Nursery have an excellent opportunity for an apprentice to join the team. Your role will involve working alongside a highly qualified team in a multi agency environment. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of age ranges with an onsite mentor.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Meeting with your training provider and completing assignments on time
- To attend team meetings and participate in sharing ideas
- Under supervision provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding
- To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children
- To provide adult interaction with children in the nursery
- To attend all training relevant to the role and deemed appropriate
- Read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role
- Contribute to good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the nursery
- To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communications with parents/carers

- All training will be delivered in the workplace

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English and maths (grade Grade 4/C or equivalent)
