Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Apprentice within our IT Department to join the nation’s largest roofing and cladding company. Central Roofing Building Services has branches across the UK serving a growing client base that includes a number of blue-chip clients which produces much repeat business.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
The Customer Service Apprentice will play a vital role within our IT team, collaborating closely with all Regions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in IT.
Key responsibilties include:
- Support the IT Manager with various tasks and projects as needed
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills and knowledge.
- Engage with company employees to provide solutions with either handware or software, which will help them in their role
- Participate in cybersecurity activities, including monitoring and responding to security incidents
- Provide technical support to resolving IT-related issues occuring on company relevant sites
- Help with the documentation of IT processes and procedures for company policy documents

Course contents
Your training plan
- Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located in Hereford (HR4 9SX)
- You will receive a training plan that is specific to your qualification, with sessions that are delivered through a combination of face-to-face and remote
- You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions.
- They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Customer Service Level 2 qualification.
- There is also a five-day teambuilding residential trip that is held in the spring of each year offered to all apprentices on programme

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English and Maths (grade 4 or C above)
Desirable qualifications
Other in:
- I.T (grade Pass)
