Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team to learn from industry experts! You will work towards your Level 2 in Furniture Manufacturing and work within a close team.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

The successful applicant will learn all aspects of manufacturing and installing furniture to a high
standard.
All our furniture is designed to be customisable from the ground up with a curated range of options available for materials, handles and bases. You will be involved with work on:

  • Cabinets
  • Desks
  • Shelving units
  • Wardrobes
  • Dining tables
  • Side tables
  • Seating
  • Beds

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training plan

Apprentices will work towards a Furniture manufacturer level 2 apprenticeship standard. Functional Skills in English and maths will be provided if required. Training will be delivered in the workplace in Stapleton, Shrewsbury, SY5 7EJ, provided by Macclesfield College. Details will be made available at a later date.
