What you will do in your working day
We are thrilled to offer two apprenticeships starting in September 2024 at Bournemouth & Poole College. This is a rare and exciting chance to join our team as an Engineering Apprentice.
What We Offer Comprehensive Training: As an apprentice, you will work at Loadpoint LTD and attend Bournemouth & Poole College one day per week during term time. Qualification: You will complete a 4-year Level 3 Apprenticeship as an Engineering Machining Technician. Hands-On Experience: You will rotate through various departments, including CNC machinery, turning, milling, grinding, inspection, design, and assembly. This will provide you with a thorough understanding of each area before you specialize in precision grinding, working to very tight tolerances.
Your Role As an Engineering Apprentice, you will:

The apprentice will initially rotate and spend time in each area of the business, such as CNC Machining, Manual turning, CNC Grinding, Manual Grinding, Assembly, Design, Planning & purchasing, Sales etc.
