What you will do in your working day

As a Business Administration / Office Support Apprentice, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Answering telephones
  • Communicating with customers by email and telephone
  • Data inputting - working with highly confidential medical records
  • Assisting with filing
  • Archiving and maintaining confidential customer records
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive image of the company
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the company, assisting colleagues when appropriate and maintain good housekeeping and a tidy workspace
  • Working as part of a close team to achieve business needs
  • Adhering to company procedures and policies
  • You’ll develop your skills alongside the management team  learning a variety of duties and supporting the whole business to continued growth. You’ll be taught and mentored by people who are well versed in academia and the job role, to achieve your full potential and share in the company’s success

The training you will be getting

  • You will be enrolled at Rotherham College; giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and qualified administrator. You would have regular tutor sessions and constant access to support. You will undertake The Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard
