What you will do in your working day

As an Apprentice you will develop skills to:

  • Utilise drawings, data and documentation
  • Undertake the manufacture, installation and testing of products; as well as commissioning, fault diagnosis and maintenance
  • Follow established processes and apply safe systems of working
  • Make a contribution to the manufacture of products and apply proven techniques to solving problems
  • Understand the importance of quality, correct procedures and relevant documentation. 

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • Bournemouth and Poole College, North Road, Poole
  • Day Release - 1 day per week
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Mechanical or Electrical Technician / Engineer, Quality Inspector, Test, Survey or Repair Technician / Engineer

Things to consider

This is a "Hands On" Technical opportunity and requires operational activity in our production facility. Dexterity / Agility will be a requirement of certain aspects of this role.
