What you will do in your working day

  • Working with the HR team at our Christchurch site you will learn about how HR fits in with a large global organisation using the latest HR software and systems
  • Your role will be hands-on working directly with the staff in all business units, providing them with the help and support they need. You will learn how to manage systems and data in areas of L&D, C&B, employee relations and recruitment
  • Prepares basic human resources analytics per instructions from the other HR team members, such as headcount tracking. Provide administrative support such as coordinating travel, scheduling meetings, answering phones and face-to-face questions

The training you will be getting

  • You will undertake at Bournemouth & Poole College the HR Support Apprenticeship Level 3
  • You will attend college one day a week
  • Health & Safety skills
  • Training on the job in all aspects of HR

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Career with Curtiss-Wright
  • Progression to CIPD Level 5 or similar
  • Upon successful completion of the course and end point assessment, you can expect to continue in HR
