What you will do in your working day
To work as an Early Years apprentices, as part of the Tiddlywinks Centre childcare team under the direction of the Centre Management
The apprentice daily duties and responsibilities will include:

The apprentice will be responsible for providing quality care in a stimulating yet safe and secure environment

Plan and participate in activities to encourage children to develop individually through play

Contribute to positive relationships with children

Maintain children’s safety during play

Respond to injuries and signs of illness and nappy changing
-
Assist with snack and meal times
-
Support staff and maintain good standards safeguarding, health & safety and hygiene, follow company policies at all times and respect confidentiality
The training you will be getting
- Apprentice Standard – Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification
- Paediatric first aid qualification
- Some College attendance combined with both workplace and online learning
