What you will do in your working day

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm for a total of 35 hours per week.

  • What you will be doing in a working week
  • Greeting clients on arrival,answering telephone and booking appointments 
  • Assisting stylists with the smooth running of the salon
  • Keeping the salon tidy and clean
  • Washing off clients 

The training you will be getting

  • Apprentices will attend East Surrey College on a day release
  • In-house training will be provided 
  • NVQ level 2 hairdressing 
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Once qualified a position may be available within the salon as a stylist
