What you will do in your working day

Your role will include a prompt resolution of software and hardware issues, effective communication, and continuous improvement of support processes. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high quality technical assistance to our employees. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of tasks, including equipment setup, software installation, and resolving software and hardware issues. You'll be the frontline responder for all IT-related queries, ensuring smooth operations across the organization. Role Responsibilities • Provide 1st and 2nd Line Support, addressing user complaints, information queries, and technical issues promptly and efficiently • Collaborate with Service Desk colleagues to enhance First Time Fix rates • Coordinate with Infrastructure colleagues to escalate and resolve 2nd/3rd line incidents • Utilise Jira as our company-wide ticketing system for efficient issue tracking • Troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware issues, both on-site and remotely • Support the full suite of Microsoft desktop products, including Office 365 • Engage with other Microsoft products, such as Active Directory • Facilitate user onboarding and offboarding processes. Role is offer based with the potential to work on a hybrid remote basis once able to support colleagues remotely.

Information Communications Technician - Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/information-communications-technician-v1-1 Functional skills up to level 2 as required to include English and Maths.

Blended on/off the job training and location to be confirmed.
