We are looking for an apprentice who has a desire to learn in an ever-expanding business. The apprentice will assist with the daily running of production to meet deadlines. Full training will be provided onsite and to use equipment to machine 2D and 3D contoured foam using various materials.

What you will do in your working day
Duties to include but not limited to;
- Operating 3-axis router
- Supporting the engineering department
- Understanding the assembly workshop
- Being trained to complete weekly, monthly and annual machine maintenance
- Machining 2D and 3D contoured foam
- Using various materials for the assembly of flight cases
- After training the apprentice will also be able to do/use;
- The fitting of flight cases
- V-carve, illustrator and Fusion 360
- Work in the assembly workshop from CNC machined components
- Understand drawings and tolerances on finished components
We are looking to provide a full and comprehensive overview of the engineering section to the right candidate.
The training you will be getting
The apprentice will complete the Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard.
Attending the Leek Campus, college transport is available, on a weekly basis apprentices will spend time in the training workshop, CAD and CAM suites.
