What you will do in your working day
The work will require you to prepare and build parts and equipment ready for installation. Going to various shipyards and marinas to then install the equipment which you have prepared. Then testing and signing off the work whilst working with customers to provide the high quality finish they expect.

The training you will be getting
Level 3 Marine Electrician apprenticeship standard;

- NVQ Level 3, Diploma in Marine Electrical Engineering (Advanced)
- City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Marine Construction, Systems Engineering and Maintenance - all relevant units
- British Marine Electrical Technician (BMET)
- Marine Electronics Installer (MEI)
- Very High Frequency (VHF) License
- Functional Skills up to Level 2 in English and Maths as required
- Block release training at BPC
- In-house training with various machinery and tools
